NSC Soccer Academy Recruitment Exercise Ends Successfully
The National Sports College (NSC), Winneba, has successfully concluded its Soccer Academy recruitment exercise, with 25 talented young footballers applying to join the prestigious program.
The exercise targeted boys between the ages of 14 and 16, aiming to identify and nurture exceptional talent for a four-year intensive program that combines formal education with professional soccer training.
The recruitment process was graced by some of the nation’s most respected coaches, including Dr. Prosper Ogum, former Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko; Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, current Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak; and Mr. Francis Oti Akenteng, former Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association.
Successful candidates will be enrolled into the NSC Soccer Academy, where they will benefit from both academic instruction and expert training in football development.
This initiative was spearheaded under the able leadership of the Director of the NSC, Mr. Bawa Fuseini, and the Technical Director, Mr. Emmanuel Kojo Appiah, with invaluable support from the entire staff of the College.
